The Thing Alma Has Is Room
Alma is a short drive up the road from Fort Smith and it has what a lot of people are actually after, which is a bit of space. Lots on the edge of town back up toward the foothills, and Frog Bayou runs through the area. Yards here tend to be larger than what you find in the middle of Fort Smith.
A bigger yard changes what is possible. You can put the pool where the afternoon sun is instead of where the fence lets you, and you can leave enough room around it that the concrete does not feel like a hallway.

Alma sits on the Ozark side of the valley and the published soil detail for the town itself is thin. We are not going to pretend otherwise.
What we do not know
What is under your particular yard. There is no published map fine enough to answer that for a single lot, in Alma or anywhere else.
What we do about it
We come look at it. The dirt tells you more in twenty minutes on site than a map will tell you all week, and that visit costs you nothing.
Putting It Where You Actually Want It
On a tight lot the pool goes where it fits. On an Alma lot it can go where it belongs, and that is worth slowing down for. We walk the yard with you and talk through sun, sightlines and where everybody will end up sitting before anything gets drawn.

- Built in place, so it can follow a slope, a corner or an odd property line
- A deep end and a diving board are both on the table
- Tile, plaster and aggregate finishes that you choose
Fiberglass
- A finished shell by Imagine Pools, smooth from the day it goes in
- Thirteen models to choose between, with a size that suits most yards
- The shell arrives complete, so the job moves faster once it is on site
- It can be set over the house by crane when a gate will not do it
We build both, so we have no reason to talk you into either one.
What Comes With Every Pool
Every pool we build comes with a variable speed pump, color changing LED lights you can run from your phone, and 4 feet of concrete around the pool, which can typically be broom finished or textured. This season we are also including a salt system, a wireless robotic cleaner, the textured concrete upgrade and chemical start up. Electrical hookup is not included, because state law requires a licensed electrician for that part.
What A Pool Costs Here
Gunite starts at $75,000, and that's the whole job. Fiberglass starts at $69,000. Where it lands depends on the model and the size, and a bigger fiberglass build can run close to a gunite pool the same size.
How Long It Takes
Active construction runs three to six weeks. From the day we break ground to the day you swim is usually ten to sixteen weeks, because permitting, inspections, curing and weather all sit between the working days.
